SAN DIEGO, California (October 11, 2009) — Construction Management Software (CMS), a leading provider of construction estimating and digital takeoff solutions, today announced that it has formalized an advanced integration partnership with ComputerEase Software, Inc. Although the two companies have been technology partners since April 2000, recent interface enhancements have created a more seamless link between CMS' ProEst Estimating software and the ComputerEase construction accounting system. The enhancements allow the two programs to function as an integrated software suite.

ProEst Estimating, with integrated digital takeoff technology, is used by construction company estimators to quickly and accurately calculate the cost of any size project. Now, a single mouse click transfers valuable estimate data from ProEst to ComputerEase to automatically set up a job – complete with budget, phases, categories, cost types and labor hours – in the accounting program. A second mouse click transfers material data from ProEst to ComputerEase to automatically create purchase orders or inventory picklists.

This advanced integration increases efficiency and eliminates the errors commonly associated with duplicate data entry.
